INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC COUNSELLING
"Before you heal someone, ask him if he's willing to give up the things that make him sick" - Hippocrates
What Is Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling?
I am an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, which, in short, means that I am a talking therapist. Being integrative means that I have studied a number of approaches and theories which allow me to weave together a unique approach for each one of my equally unique clients.
How I Work
The human experience is complex; each one of us has had our own individual journey, a collection of experiences, which has lead to our own special take on how we see the world, how we experience events, what emotions & feelings we are in touch with, the quality of our thoughts and how we relate to others (be that platonically, romantically or professionally).
I work with you to find the best approach that suits your needs. Over time we will build a relationship that has trust at its core.
In understanding how you relate to yourself and others we will begin to unfold where issues have developed. I seek to provide a growth facilitating environment for my clients where we can look at issues that are causing distress and in time begin to repair and heal these parts of you.
We will work towards helping find more peace, more mindful awareness, more acceptance and love for yourself and those around you.
There is no set time frame for how long this journey is, and taking the first step can often feel like the hardest, but with regular check ins, honest feedback and trust you will find your way, together, along this path.
I have worked with clients with a range of issues including, but not limited to, the following;
GAD / Anxiety
ADHD / ADD
Low self esteem
Bereavement / Loss
HSP (highly sensitive people)
Relationship problems / end of relationships

£80 per hour
I do offer a sliding scale for those who do not feel they can offer the full fee. This is based on an honest reflection from yourself about what you can afford; this is about engaging with a conscious relationships with money, about how you value yourself, and how you choose to spend money.
It is also about asking you to reflect on the respect / value you have for my time and the therapeutic process.
