I was drawn to yoga to find balance between the body and the mind. Having trained as a talking therapist for many years I was finding the binary focus on the mind to be quite heavy hitting and so I went to find new ways of understanding the human condition.
Quantum Yoga is a Vinyasa based style of yoga that uses Ayurveda as a lens through which we put together sequences, choose pranayama (breathing) exercises, and which style of meditation may be best for someone.
I work with my clients to establish their imbalances and what could be exacerbating them. Then through specific postures, breath, and meditation we work towards bringing them back into their natural and unique balance/nature (prakriti) across their doshas (mind body constitution).
You will learn tools and exercises to use in your own time too.
I am also currently training in Yin Yoga.
